3 Amazing Hotels in Pittsburgh

While most of our other blogs featuring where to stay in Pennsylvania talk about the ways to stay in different locations, we decided to switch things up! Pittsburgh is a major city in the United States. In fact, it's the second biggest city in Pennsylvania in terms of popluation. With such population density, its hard to find a quaint bed and breakfast or vacation home. Instead were giving you our three favorite hotels in PGH.

1. Hotel Monaco

Hotel Monaco is a swanky modern hotel filled with bold color and luxury. How swanky? Roof top beer garden swanky. Hotel Monaco is a Kimpton hotel which means it has some pretty unique amenities such as a yoga mat in every room as well as complimentary bike rentals for those looking for a unique way to explore the city. One more thing: the hotel is pet friendly, meaning you can bring your furry friends at no extra charge! Book a room here.

2. Stay Alfred
Photo
Stay Alfred may be the best deal in Steel City. With rooms starting at just 60 dollars their aren't many comparable options. The rooms in this hotel are set up loft style which means every unit has a full kitchen, perfect for those who are looking to save a few bucks not eating out every meal. The hotel still includes a fitness center just like a normal hotel. I also included Stay Alfred because it is located directly on The Strip. Every time I ask a Pittburgh local what to do when I get a chance to visit their city I am directed to check out The Strip. This hotel offers a great chance to immerse your self in downtown Pittburgh. Book a room here.
3. Drury Plaza Downtown Pittsburgh

Drury Plaza is located in a renovated bank making it the most unique location on our list. It also made our list because you can get free food here at any time of day. Drury Plaza offers a complimentary breakfast as well as a happy hour and if you miss both of those there is free popcorn and soda available throughout the day! Book a room here.
Bonus: The Inn on Mexican War Streets
Okay, so we know we said there would be no quaint bed and breakfasts, but LOOK AT THIS PLACE.

Its's beautiful with plenty of amazing rooms and interesting history. This beautiful mansion is also for sale as the owners are looking to retire. Whether you are looking to book one night our buy, you can find more information here.
