The vast fields where the battles took place are a must-see for visitors. Equipped with replica cannons, war carts, and many monuments, the Gettysburg National Military Park is a beautiful place to explore and learn about the 1863 battles.
This park is open year round, with hours varying( November - March is 6 am-7 pm, April-October is 6 am-10 pm). It also offers many programs and special events, such as battlefield walks and living history groups.
The park also features a Museum and Visitor Center, which houses many exhibits and interactive experiences.
2. Battlefield Driving Tours

With all of the different locations, historic figures, and specifics, it's easy to get lost in trying to piece everything that happened in Gettysburg together. The CD driving tour makes learning about this decisive battle much clearer!

4. Gettysburg Museum of History

This building is home to tons of artifacts not only from the Civil War, but from both World Wars, and from presidents as well.
The collection this place holds is so impressive that it's been featured on multiple popular TV shows, such as American Pickers, Pawn Stars, and Haunted Collector!
This history-buff heaven is closed on Mondays, but feel free to browse the items any time between 11 am- 5 pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
