Erie Zoo is a very enjoyable and affordable attraction. Their diverse set of animals go from the cuddly red panda to the crawly scorpion.
They also offer rides on an adorable train and carousal, for all ages to participate in. Visit the zoo any time between 10 am through 5 pm.
2. Presque Isle State Park

A wonderful spot for outdoor enthusiasts, Presque Isle State Park is one of the best ways to experience Lake Erie.
Activities include hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing...the list is practically endless!
And when you aren't immersing yourself in the wilderness of the area, don't forgot to visit the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. It does a great job at informing you on the isle's wildlife and ecosystem, and it's a convenient distance away from the main action of the park.
If you like the sound of these options, the park is open until dark year-round!
3. Downtown Erie

A perfect place to spend your day, or night!
Downtown Erie offers great views of the lake, plenty of dining services, and historical landmarks, to just name a few possibilities.
Visitors relish in its attractiveness and cleanliness, and seem to love its unique and fun environment, both during the day and after dark!
